Quidditch is a fast-paced, team sport inspired by the fictional game from the Harry Potter books, adapted for real-world play. In real quidditch, two teams of seven players compete on a field, combining elements of rugby, dodgeball, and tag. Players run while holding brooms between their legs, simulating the flying aspect of the fictional game. The game features positions such as chasers, who score goals by throwing a ball called the quaffle through hoops; beaters, who throw dodgeballs called bludgers to temporarily disable opponents; and a seeker, who tries to catch the golden snitch, a ball attached to a neutral player.
