Learn more about ball hockey
Ball hockey is a fast-paced team sport similar to ice hockey but played on foot, usually on a non-ice surface like a gym floor, street, or outdoor rink. Instead of a puck, players use a ball, and the game involves sticks, goals, and teams trying to score by hitting the ball into the opposing team’s net. Ball hockey emphasizes speed, agility, teamwork, and stickhandling skills. It can be played recreationally or competitively at various levels. The sport is accessible because it requires less specialized equipment and no ice, making it popular in areas without ice rinks. Ball hockey promotes cardiovascular fitness, coordination, and social interaction among players of all ages.
