The Unplugged Woodshop
The Unplugged Woodshop is Canada's first woodworking school dedicated exclusively to hand tools, offering in-person classes and workshops on Cape Breton Island in Nova Scotia. With over 6471 accomplished woodworking students since 2008, the school provides a unique learning environment where students can slow down, work with their hands, and heart. Through step-by-step instruction and hands-on experience, students can produce high-quality pieces using only hand tools. The school's workshop brings together people from diverse backgrounds, fostering a community of woodworkers passionate about traditional craftsmanship. By sharing their expertise and experience, the school's teachers inspire students to create handmade projects for the home and workshop.
