Bringing Land Skills to Life Across Ontario
The Ontario Land Skills Network is a provincial organization dedicated to promoting land skills and crafts across Ontario, providing workshops, events, and resources for individuals to develop their skills in areas such as spoon carving, green woodworking, sweet grass basket weaving, and more. With a focus on sustainability and wellness, the network aims to bring people together to share knowledge and expertise in rural skills. As the home of SpoonMoot and the UW LandSkills for Wellness and Sustainability Initiative, the network offers a range of opportunities for learning and community engagement. By supporting local skills and crafts, the Ontario Land Skills Network helps to preserve traditional practices and promote a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Through its events and workshops, the network fosters a sense of connection and community among its members.
