Calgary Wheelchair Curling Association
The Calgary Wheelchair Curling Association (CWCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting wheelchair curling, one of the fastest-growing wheelchair sports worldwide. Established in 2005, CWCA has grown to become one of the largest wheelchair curling leagues in Canada, boasting over 30 members. As an inclusive and adaptive sport, wheelchair curling welcomes participants of all ages, from 16 to over 60, and offers a unique opportunity for people with disabilities to engage in recreational sports. CWCA works closely with Curling Canada, Curling Alberta, and the Garrison Curling Club to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all participants. By joining CWCA, individuals can become involved as players or volunteers, contributing to the growth and development of this exciting sport.
