VOICE provides activities for these age groups:
VOICE is a non-profit organization that empowers young people in Canada to take a stand against violence, social injustice, and discrimination by amplifying the voices of athlete leaders to bring awareness to these issues through unique and impactful peer-led learning experiences. Leveraging sport as a platform for change, VOICE partners with Alberta schools, universities, sports, and community organizations to promote anti-violence, equity, social justice, mental health, and wellbeing. The organization's Athlete Ambassadors, trained in Mental Health First Aid and other areas, facilitate discussions on various topics, including gender-based violence, mental health, and diversity, inclusion. By utilizing the influence and reach of athletes, VOICE aims to create transformative learning experiences that drive real change. Through its programs, VOICE supports schools, sports, and post-secondary communities in fostering a culture of anti-violence, equity, and social justice.
