PPBSO

The Pipers' and Pipe Band Society of Ontario (PPBSO) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and developing piping and drumming in Ontario since 1947. As one of Canada's seven Pipe Band Associations, the PPBSO provides a formal, accredited system of competition rules and supports regional events, including prestigious competitions like the North American, Canadian, and Ontario Pipe Band Championships. With five branches across the province, the PPBSO offers individual membership opportunities for those interested in advancing Highland piping and drumming traditions. The organization also provides financial support for clinics, workshops, and other initiatives that sustain the culture of Highland piping and drumming. The PPBSO is an affiliate of the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA).
