BC Forest Discovery Centre
The BC Forest Discovery Centre is a 100-acre, open-air museum showcasing British Columbia's forest industry history through exhibits, heritage buildings, and logging artifacts. Located on the traditional territory of the Quwutsun (Cowichan) First Nations, the Centre features forest and marsh trails with excellent bird-watching opportunities and offers various educational programs and special events throughout the year. With an operational railway and a diverse collection of locomotives, the Centre provides a unique experience for visitors of all ages. The BC Forest Discovery Centre is operated by the BC Forest Museum Society and is a registered charity, relying on community and corporate donations to continue its operations.
