The Mini Legends Program is a comprehensive organization dedicated to providing professional development for teachers and community leaders, while offering inclusive and engaging physical activity programs for children and youth. With a focus on physical literacy skills, cooperation, and self-confidence, the program is designed to empower young participants to become leaders in their communities. Operating in various settings, including education, sport, and recreation, the Mini Legends Program aims to foster a love of physical activity and promote healthy development in children and youth. As a recipient of the 2023 Ted Rogers Community Grant, the program is committed to supporting Indigenous youth in Northeastern Alberta Schools. By partnering with Athletics Alberta, the Mini Legends Program seeks to make a positive impact on the lives of young people across the region.
