CADS Edmonton
CADS Edmonton is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing adaptive snow sports to individuals with physical, sensory, and/or cognitive disabilities, offering downhill skiing and snowboarding programs tailored to each participant's unique abilities. With a strong focus on inclusivity and community, CADS Edmonton empowers athletes, instructors, and supporters to celebrate adaptive sport. The organization relies on volunteers and donations to continue its mission, providing one-on-one instruction, equipment lending, and volunteer training. CADS Edmonton has grown to support over 80 students and 130 volunteers, fostering a sense of belonging and self-esteem among participants. By participating in CADS Edmonton programs, individuals can ski or snowboard with their families and peers, promoting accessibility and equality in the sport.
