Derrick Skating Club

Welcome to the Derrick Skating Club, a long-standing Skate Canada club in Edmonton, Alberta, since 1966. Our mission is to foster a fun and inclusive environment where skaters of all ages can develop their skills and passion for figure skating, ice dancing, and hockey skating. With our dynamic Learn to Skate program following Skate Canada's CanSkate guidelines, we ensure that every participant enjoys personalized instruction and support from experienced coaches who are dedicated to nurturing talent and promoting a strong sense of community among skaters. At Derrick Skating Club, we stand out by offering unique programs like the Introductory Figure Skating Academy (IFSA) for young skaters showing natural affinity, as well as private figure skating sessions that cater to skaters of all ages.
