Edmonton Weavers' Guild
The Edmonton Weavers' Guild is a community organization dedicated to promoting spinning, weaving, felting, and dyeing since 1953. Located in the Strathcona Community League Hall, the guild offers classes, workshops, and studio space for its over 100 members, who share a passion for textile and fibre arts. As a member of the Hand Weavers, Spinners and Dyers of Alberta, Focus on Fibre Alberta, and the Association of Northwest Weavers Guilds, the guild provides a platform for like-minded individuals to learn, share, and showcase their skills. The guild also hosts an annual sale, featuring handmade items from local artisans, and offers a library of books and magazines on fibre arts. With a focus on community, education, and creativity, the Edmonton Weavers' Guild is a hub for textile enthusiasts in Edmonton.
