Purple City Music Festival

Purple City Music Festival is brought to you by Rain Shadow Productions Ltd., an Edmonton-based non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the arts within Alberta. As a champion of local music, the festival acknowledges the rich Indigenous heritage of the land on which it takes place, specifically Treaty 6 territory in amiskwacîwâskahikan, territory of nêhiyawak, Stoney Nakota, Nakota Sioux, Dene, and Métis. The organization's mission is to promote cultural exchange and understanding through music, while also recognizing the importance of Indigenous histories, languages, and cultures. By supporting local artists and fostering a sense of community, Purple City Music Festival aims to contribute to the vibrant arts scene in Alberta.
