South Arts Asian Society

South Asian Arts Movement (SAAM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving South Asian performing arts in Edmonton and across Canada. Founded in 2007, SAAM offers a range of dance classes, workshops, and performance opportunities for students and established artists, with a focus on building life skills and cultural connection. With a team of accomplished instructors and a Board of Directors with strong ties to the performing arts, SAAM aims to increase awareness and knowledge about South Asian arts, while fostering multi-culturalism and artistic growth. By providing quality dance, music, and dramatic arts classes, SAAM seeks to contribute positively to the lives of others and promote the South Asian community. Through its various programs and services, SAAM strives to make a lasting impact on the arts scene in Edmonton and beyond.
