Toishan Martial Arts, affiliated with Green Dragon Kung Fu Edmonton, is a traditional Chinese martial arts organization founded in 1971 by Grand Master Chan Wah. Led by Head Instructor Sifu Jostein Haugland, a seasoned practitioner with over 55 years of experience, the school aims to preserve and spread the Toishan fighting arts. With a diverse background in Chinese styles, wrestling, and Filipino stick fighting, Sifu Haugland brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization. Toishan Martial Arts emphasizes respect, health, focus, confidence, self-defense, and leadership, providing a holistic approach to martial arts training.
