Hearts Open for Everyone

Hearts Open for Everyone (H.O.P.E.) is a community organization dedicated to promoting diversity and inclusion in Elmira, Ontario, through various programs and initiatives. Founded by Abby Cooper, H.O.P.E. aims to create a safe environment where all voices are heard and to improve equity through knowledge, support, and mindfulness. The organization honors Indigenous sovereignty and cultural resurgence, recognizing the historical injustices faced by Indigenous communities. H.O.P.E. offers programs and workshops promoting racial inclusivity, knowledge, awareness, and mindfulness, with a focus on empowering the growing and diverse community. By fostering empathy and allyship, H.O.P.E. strives to build a more inclusive and harmonious society.
