Eye of the Needle

Eye of the Needle is a unique studio and gallery located in historic downtown Fernie, BC, Canada, showcasing a 130-year-old blacksmithing legacy that continues to thrive. Founded by the Barrett family in 2004, the studio offers a wide range of handmade crafts, including metalwork, glass, felted garments, and more, all made with love and care by Sandra Barrett. As an authorized reseller of DHG Dyeing House Gallery yarns and fibres from Italy and The Gentle Roller wet felting machine from Australia, Eye of the Needle provides a one-stop shop for fibre enthusiasts and crafters. With a focus on sustainability and community, the studio also supports local initiatives, such as the Elk Valley Suicide Task Force. By visiting Eye of the Needle, customers can discover heirloom-quality gifts and treasures.
