The Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute's Visual Arts Department offers a comprehensive curriculum that fosters creativity and artistic expression for students of all skill levels. With a focus on exploration and innovation, students have the opportunity to engage with various art forms, including drawing, painting, digital media, and sculpture. The department also provides numerous field trips and events, such as visits to the Art Gallery of Ontario and the Power Plant Contemporary Gallery, allowing students to experience the art and culture of European cities and contemporary art. Students can also participate in extracurricular activities, such as the Grade 12 Art Show and Arts Night, which showcase their talents and dedication to the arts.
