Adaptive Sports Sun Peaks
Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks is a charitable organization dedicated to creating accessible outdoor adventures for individuals with physical, visual, and/or neuro-divergent challenges. Established in 2008, the organization provides weekly ski and snowboard lessons, as well as summer programs in activities like hiking, SUP, and mountain biking. With over 55 volunteer instructors, Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks aims to make the mountain experience accessible to all, offering opportunities to individuals from across Canada and around the world. As a registered charity, the organization relies on volunteers and donations to continue its mission.
