Simcoe Major Curling League
The Simcoe Major Curling League is a competitive curling league based in Innisfil, Ontario, featuring top teams from the region, including Barrie, Alliston, Bradford, Cookstown, Orillia, and Toronto. Established over 46 years ago, the league has hosted world, national, and provincial champions, including Ed Werenich, Russ and Glen Howard, and Cory and Heather Heggestad. With a focus on high-level competition, the league offers a venue for curlers to hone their skills and prepare for provincial competitions and cash spiels. The Simcoe Major Curling League is sponsored by Sleeman Brewery and Scott Dawney Plumbing, two local businesses committed to quality and excellence. The league meets every Wednesday night at the Stroud Curling Club, offering a fun and competitive environment for curlers of all skill levels.
