Established in 1961, the tournament is a 100% not-for-profit organization that focuses on fellowship, fun, and service to communities. The event has raised over $486,500 for various charities since 2009, including the Law Enforcement Torch Run and local hospitals. The tournament is hosted by the Durham Regional Police Service and features a two-day tournament spanning 12 ice pads, 300 hotel rooms, and numerous social venues. The event is a testament to the dedication and camaraderie of law enforcement personnel.
