Femme Folks Fest is a 9-day celebration of artist creation, collaboration, and delight, featuring over 25 live events across 8 venues in Waterloo Region. The festival showcases a diverse range of performances, including theatre, comedy, dance, and visual art, with a focus on supporting local and regional artists. This year's lineup includes the premiere of an original eco-dance performance, IT FALLS WITH THE RAIN, as well as a Projection Parade of Femme Creation. The festival acknowledges its location on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples, and is committed to promoting inclusivity and community engagement.
