WRCMS WATERLOO REGION CONTEMPORARY MUSIC SESSIONS
The Waterloo Region Contemporary Music Sessions (WRCMS) is a 9-day series of workshops, concerts, panels, reading sessions, and activities designed to promote and provide opportunities for emerging and early career Canadian and international performers, improvisers, and composers of contemporary music. Hosted by a team of acclaimed artists, WRCMS offers mentorship, coaching, and workshops with guest artists, as well as performances in diverse venues across the Waterloo region. This year's WRCMS will take place from July 29 to August 8, 2018, and features a diverse lineup of guest artists and ensembles. The organization is committed to accessibility and acknowledges the traditional territory on which it operates. By providing opportunities for emerging artists, WRCMS aims to foster innovation and creativity in contemporary music.
