Army Cadets

The Cadet Programs are a nationally structured initiative for youth aged 12-18, offering a variety of fun and challenging activities while introducing them to the Sea, Army, and Air activities of the Canadian Armed Forces. As an Army Cadet unit, our corps, 2296, is affiliated with the 20th Independent Field Battery based in Lethbridge, Alberta, and is committed to fostering responsible community members through environmental, citizenship, and community activities. Cadets learn valuable life and work skills such as teamwork, leadership, and citizenship, and are not expected to join the military. The program is community-based, relying on strong community support and involvement to succeed, and is invested in today's youth and Canada's future. By joining the Cadet Program, young Canadians can explore various career choices and develop essential skills.
