Computational Participation in Math
The Computational Participation in Mathematics Education (CPMath) project is a research initiative that explores the integration of computational thinking in mathematics education, from pre-school to undergraduate levels, and in teacher education. Funded by a SSHRC Insight Grant, the project aims to investigate the use of computational modeling in mathematics education. Located at cpmath.ca, the website provides information on the project's goals, researchers, and recent activities. The project also hosts various resources and opportunities, including the Western Makers STEAM Camp. By examining the intersection of mathematics and computation, CPMath seeks to advance our understanding of effective mathematics education practices.
