OWIFA

The Ontario Women's Intercollegiate Football Association (OWIFA) is a league that brings together university and college athletes from across Ontario, Canada, to compete and grow in the sport of women's flag football. With a focus on promoting equality and inclusivity, OWIFA aims to provide a competitive and supportive environment for post-secondary women athletes to develop their skills and knowledge. The league offers two styles of play, non-contact and contact-flag, and has grown to include over 500 athletes and 80+ coaches across 14 institutions. OWIFA is dedicated to fostering a community that encourages leadership development, physical and mental well-being, and positive relationships through football. By promoting women's participation in collegiate football, OWIFA is working towards creating equal opportunities for women in the sport.
