Art of Dance Studio
The Spirit of the Pacific Cultural Society, a Canadian Non-Profit Organization, is dedicated to perpetuating and promoting the unique traditions and cultural heritage of Polynesian dances, including Hawaiian hula, Tahitian, and Maori. Founded in 1999, Hālau Hula KaʻUhane O Ka Pakipika, or Kauhane School of Polynesian Dance, is an authentic hālau based in Maple Ridge, BC, offering classes and lessons in these ancient arts. With a focus on preserving cultural heritage, the organization aims to spread aloha and aloofness across the world. Governed by The Spirit of the Pacific Cultural Society, Hālau KaUhane is committed to honoring the past while embracing the future. By promoting Polynesian culture, the organization strives to foster a deeper understanding and appreciation of its rich traditions.
