Wye Marsh
Located in the Heart of Georgian Bay, the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre is a 3,000-acre Provincially Significant Wetlands and woodland area offering a variety of guided programming, trails, and interactive exhibits. Visitors can explore canoeing and kayaking tours, observation towers, and floating boardwalks, while learning about the natural and cultural history of the area. With over 25km of trails to hike, paddle, or snowshoe, Wye Marsh is a unique landscape for outdoor enthusiasts. The centre is home to a variety of native animals, including snakes, turtles, and birds of prey, and offers educational workshops and activities for all ages. As a designated Key Biodiversity Area, Wye Marsh plays a vital role in conservation efforts.
