Literacy Central Vancouver Island
Literacy Central Vancouver Island (LCVI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting life-long learning of literacy through free tutoring programs and accessible workshops. Established in 1990, LCVI has grown its services to support community members of all ages, backgrounds, and needs. The organization acknowledges the traditional territories of the Snuneymuxw, Stzuminus, and Snaw-Naw-As Nations, and is committed to providing culturally sensitive services. With over 100 volunteers, LCVI relies on the support of its community to offer essential literacy services. By fostering a love of reading and learning, LCVI aims to leave a lasting legacy of literacy in the community.
