Nanaimo Canoe Kayak Club
The Nanaimo Canoe & Kayak Club is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy, active living through paddle-sports, offering diverse programs for youth and adults of all ages and abilities. Located at Long Lake, the club provides a fun and safe environment for paddling, canoeing, and kayaking, with a focus on skill development, water safety, and outdoor recreation. As a Coast Salish Territory-based organization, NCKC acknowledges the traditional lands of the Snuneymuwx, Snaw-naw-as, and Stzuminus Nations. With various programs and camps, including CanoeKids summer camps and recreational adult and youth programs, NCKC aims to foster a lifelong love for paddling and outdoor activities. By promoting active living and quality programming, NCKC supports the well-being of its members and the community.
