Discover Circus

Discover Circus is a local social enterprise offering training and community to those who wish to explore the circus arts, providing a platform for artistic expression, cooperation, inclusiveness, and play. Founded under the umbrella of the Nelson Circus Performers Association, the organization is led by a team of multidisciplinary circus artists and instructors, including Jake TheLady, Joy Weick, Mackenzie Savill, Jordyn Penry, Ally Robertson, Siovhan Williamson, Andrea Legg, and Vivian Hughes. With a focus on promoting physical and mental well-being, Discover Circus offers a range of classes, workshops, and performances, catering to diverse skill levels and interests. The organization is supported by local businesses and community organizations, and relies on donations to continue its mission of empowering individuals through the circus arts.
