Durham Shoestring Performers
Durham Shoestring Performers is a non-profit organization dedicated to quality and accessibility in live theatre, presenting challenging and entertaining plays with innovative directing and design, while keeping production costs low to ensure community members can enjoy live theatre. With 159 productions in downtown Oshawa, including 104 Canadian shows and 34 by local writers, DSP aims to celebrate the arts and foster a sense of community through theatre. As a member of the Association of Community Theatres Central Ontario and the Pine Ridge Arts Council, DSP continues to grow and thrive in the downtown Oshawa arts scene.
