Almrausch Club
The Maple Leaf Almrausch Club is a non-profit organization in Ottawa, Ontario, founded in 1964 as a result of the amalgamation of the Maple Leaf Soccer Club and the Almrausch Bavarian folk dance Group. The club is owned and operated by its members, with no private interest involved, and features a unique German clubhouse in the Ottawa area. The club has undergone several transformations since its inception, including a major rebuilding effort after a fire in 1980. Today, the Maple Leaf Almrausch Club offers various groups and activities, including shooters, dancers, skaters, and more. As the only German clubhouse in the Ottawa area, the club provides a unique cultural experience for its members and the community.
