Garry Elliott is a renowned Ottawa guitarist specializing in classical and jazz performances and instruction. With a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Ottawa, he offers guitar instruction in both classical and jazz styles, drawing from his studies with Michael Strutt and masterclasses with David Russell and Manuel Barruecco. As a classical guitarist, Garry provides live music services for weddings, ceremonies, and events, collaborating with Ottawa musicians such as Gertrude Létourneau and Steve Boudreau. He has performed and recorded with various artists, including Roddy Ellias and the Norteño ensemble, and has showcased his talents at prominent festivals like the Ottawa and Montreal Jazz Festivals. Garry teaches classical and jazz guitar at Carleton University and provides private instruction in Ottawa.
