OVWSG Ottawa Valley Weavers' and Spinners' Guild
The Ottawa Valley Weavers and Spinners Guild (OVWSG) is a vibrant community of fibre artists dedicated to promoting interest and education in weaving, spinning, and related crafts. With over 200 members, the guild offers a wide range of workshops, equipment rentals, and a fully equipped studio, as well as monthly meetings and networking opportunities. Founded in 1949, the guild celebrates its 75th anniversary with a curated collection of works showcasing the breadth of knowledge and talent of its members. The OVWSG welcomes all levels of interest and offers introductory workshops for those new to the craft. Through its annual Sale and Exhibition, the guild promotes and showcases the work of its talented members.
