Rahim Salsa Friday

Rahim Salsa Friday is Ottawa's longest-running weekly salsa social, offering beginner lessons and social dancing to all levels, from October 12th, 2007. Located at St. John The Evangelist Anglican Church, the event features professional salsa and bachata teachers, Resident DJ Rahim, and local guest DJs, creating a vibrant community for dancers to learn, socialize, and enjoy the rhythm. With a passion for sharing the joy of salsa, Rahim has created a platform for DJs, teachers, performers, and enthusiasts to showcase their talents, fostering a supportive environment for everyone to grow and share their love for salsa. Rahim Salsa Friday has also spawned the Ottawa-Gatineau International Salsa Festival, which brings together world-class performers, instructors, and DJs to showcase the best of Latin dance.
