Greater Durham Special Olympics
The Greater Durham Special Olympics (GDSO) is a community-driven organization dedicated to promoting inclusivity and sportsmanship for individuals with intellectual disabilities. As a part of Special Olympics Ontario, GDSO offers various programs and services, including sports training, coaching, and volunteer opportunities. The organization is grateful for the support of its athletes, volunteers, and sponsors, particularly Ryan and Howie, who have raised over $55,000 through their fundraising efforts. GDSO's mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for individuals with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports and activities. By promoting unity and inclusion, GDSO aims to make a positive impact in the lives of its athletes and the community at large.
