The Historical Combat Collective
The Historical Combat Collective is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a safe and professional environment for historical martial arts practitioners to train and practice sword fighting together, boasting over 102 years of combined experience and 85+ international tournament medals. As a group of like-minded individuals, they strive to create a fun and inclusive space for members to hone their skills and connect with others who share their passion for historical European martial arts. Operating on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Kwikwetlem, Sto:lo, and Songhees First Nations Peoples, the collective is committed to respecting and honoring the land and its indigenous roots. With multiple locations across British Columbia, Canada, they offer trial classes, reviews, articles, and other content for those interested in learning more about their programs and services. By fostering a community of historical martial arts enthusiasts, the Historical Combat Collective aims to promote education, skill-building, and cultural awareness.
