York South Special Olympics Ontario
Special Olympics Ontario York South is a volunteer-driven organization serving the communities of Richmond Hill, Markham, Thornhill, King City, and Whitchurch-Stouffville, with over 200 registered athletes and 60 volunteers and coaches. As a part of Special Olympics Ontario, this community offers 18 sports to athletes aged 8-80, enriching their lives through the power of sport. With a focus on inclusivity and community engagement, Special Olympics Ontario York South aims to promote the values of friendship, respect, and acceptance. The organization is dedicated to providing opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to participate in sports and activities. By supporting local charitable gaming initiatives, Special Olympics Ontario York South makes a positive impact in the lives of its athletes and the community at large.
