Cadet Squadron
The 5 Cyclone Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron is a youth organization dedicated to developing the next generation of leaders, serving the communities of Russell, Embrun, Vars, Greely, Winchester, and surrounding areas since its establishment in 2005. As a Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron, the organization provides training and activities for young people, fostering their growth and development in a supportive environment. With regular training sessions held at Russell High School, the squadron offers a unique opportunity for youth to learn new skills, build confidence, and become part of a community of like-minded individuals. The squadron is committed to providing a safe and inclusive space for all members, regardless of language proficiency.
