Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association (SEDA)
The Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association (SEDA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting speech and debate skills among youth in grades 5 to 12. As a member-based organization, SEDA offers various programs, including summer camps, workshops, tournaments, and online resources, to support students in developing their public speaking and debating abilities. With a focus on inclusivity and respect for Indigenous cultures, SEDA's programs reach communities across Treaty 2, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10. By providing a supportive environment for students to learn and grow, SEDA aims to foster confident and effective communicators. Through its various initiatives, SEDA seeks to inspire and empower the next generation of leaders and thinkers.
