Algoma Art Society
The Algoma Art Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting arts and culture in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, since its inception in 1948. With over 75 years of experience, the society fosters local talent, hosts exhibitions, competitions, classes, and lectures, and provides opportunities for artists to develop their skills. The society's members, a diverse group of visual artists, work in various mediums, including watercolours, acrylics, oils, pastels, and photography. By supporting local artists and promoting the arts, the Algoma Art Society aims to establish Sault Ste. Marie as a center of arts and culture.
