DDM Toronto Centre
DDM Toronto Centre is a Canadian registered charity that practices Chan Buddhism in the Dharma Drum Lineage, offering a variety of regular practices, including meditation, chanting, and study groups, under the guidance of monastic sangha and lay teachers. Founded in 1998, the Centre has become the spiritual home for people from all walks of life, aiming to help everyone discover the wisdom within themselves and promote a peaceful and healthy society. With a focus on authentic Buddhist teachings for a modern world, DDM Toronto Centre draws from the practices of Linji and Caodong schools, as well as Indian and Chinese Buddhism, to provide genuine Buddhist teachings to its practitioners. The Centre is supported by donors and volunteers and offers free activities with voluntary donations, welcoming individuals to join its community.
