NVIT
The North Vancouver Island College (NVIT) Elders' Council is a vital part of the institution's mission to support the growth, nurturing, and spiritual needs of its students, staff, and faculty. Comprised of 20 Elders from the region, the Council provides guidance, mentorship, and cultural activities that promote Indigenous education, healing, and self-care. Through various events and programs, the Elders foster a sense of community and connection, offering a safe and welcoming space for students to learn, grow, and thrive.
