Rideau Valley Soaring
Rideau Valley Soaring is a friendly Ottawa area gliding club located beside the Rideau River between Manotick and Kemptville, offering a unique experience of soaring through the skies using natural energy. With a grass-strip airfield just 30 minutes from downtown Ottawa, the club welcomes new members and provides flight instruction on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. As a member of The Soaring Association of Canada, Rideau Valley Soaring operates from April to November, weather permitting, and offers introductory flights and ground school for those interested in learning more about soaring. The club is open to visitors and offers resources for pilots, including photos, news, and links to other soaring organizations. Join the club to experience the thrill of free flight in one of their aircraft.
