NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action
NISA/Northern Initiative for Social Action is a mental health organization led by individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges and illness, providing programs and services to consumers of mental health services. Based in Sudbury, Ontario, the organization is committed to supporting individuals and communities affected by mental health issues. Funded by various sources, NISA operates from its office at 36 Elgin St. 2nd Floor, Sudbury, and offers resources and support to those in need. As a culturally sensitive organization, NISA acknowledges the traditional territory of the Atikameksheng Anishinaabek and Wahnapitae First Nation. By supporting NISA, individuals can connect with a community that understands their experiences and provides accessible resources.
