Based in South Surrey, BC, the community offers Lindy Hop classes, dances, and events, with a focus on social dance wellness and community building. With a commitment to supporting local charities, Warrior Swing Dance Community aims to bring people together through the joy of dance. Led by owners Marie and Peter Welton, the organization has a rich history dating back to 1998, with a name change to reflect its growing commitment to social dance wellness. By embracing the vintage original social swing dance style of the 1930s and 40s, Warrior Swing Dance Community invites dancers to join a community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for dance and social connection.
