Thunder Bay Field Naturalists Club
The Thunder Bay Field Naturalists Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the study and preservation of natural history, promoting the wise use of natural resources and conservation of healthy ecosystems. Based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, the club educates and inspires people of all ages to appreciate and enjoy the natural world through walks, talks, and special events. With a focus on protecting areas through Nature Reserve land acquisitions, the club advocates for the conservation of natural areas and promotes environmental stewardship. As a member of the Thunder Bay community, the club respectfully acknowledges the traditional territories of Anishinabek Nation and honours the original stewards of these lands and waters. By joining the club, individuals can become involved in conservation efforts and learn about the local wildlife and ecosystems.
