For over four decades, Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre (CCAC) has been a cornerstone of the community, offering weekly individual and group arts instruction to at-risk children from diverse backgrounds. With a mission to ensure no child is left behind due to financial constraints, CCAC provides subsidized lessons in piano, guitar, violin, drums, percussion, voice, as well as arts and crafts, storytelling, and yoga. Their commitment to education and the arts has led to impressive outcomes, with 83% of their graduates enrolled in or having attained post-secondary diplomas or degrees, significantly higher than Toronto's average.
