Daricha Schools is an independent organization dedicated to providing education to girls in Afghanistan through homeschooling, also known as underground schools, due to the Taliban's ban on women's education and work. Operating in seven provinces, these underground schools offer regular in-person classes and a curriculum that includes core subjects and specialized courses to equip students with essential academic knowledge and critical thinking skills. Founded in response to the Taliban's ban, Daricha aims to empower young girls who may not otherwise have access to education. With a focus on providing a safe and enabling environment, Daricha's underground schools are crucial in bringing hope to Afghanistan's education system. As a non-profit organization, Daricha relies on donations and support to continue its mission.
